We are proud to be part of the 55% citrus fruit production that South Africa offers. Citrus is a collective term for a genus of flowering trees and shrubs in the rue family. Citrus plants produce important fruit crops which we have a wide variety of being oranges, lemons and grapefruits.
We are excited about our newly planted mandarins. They are the easy peelers type and we are expecting our first harvest in 2024. Opening various new markets and opportunities for our farm. Growth is in the order of the day.
